Divergent

Review: Divergent is a futuristic novel where society is divided into factions. Each faction represents how the people should behave in society. There are five factions Abnegation (the selfless), Amity (the peaceful), Candor (the honest), Dauntless (the brave), and Erudite (the intelligent).

At 16 every teenager goes through an evaluation to know which faction they belong. Nevertheless, independent of the test result, they have the right to choose which faction they want to spend the rest of their lives.

By choosing to follow the faction, the teenagers goes for a period of “internship”, which evaluate whether they can belong to the faction they chose. Those who don’t pass in this stage, become Factionless (living like beggars, work in jobs that nobody wants, earn too little to survive and live starving).

The story is set in this period of “stage” of the main character, Beatrice.

My print:

I love futuristic novel, mainly with romance. ❤ ❤ (So, I’m very suspicious to talk about it!).

I really loved the story. I thought it was very original. The author writing is very good, the story is super interesting and has a surprise in each page. During the reading I was so curious to start a new page that I never want to stop. The book was a roller coaster of emotions!

I felt in love with the characters!

Then I realize what it is. It’s him. Something about him makes me feel like I am about to fall. Or turn to liquid. Or burst into flames.
